Scope Communications (now Azimuth Networks)

I started at Scope Communications in July of 1997. They were based in Southborough, MA and later moved to Marlborough, MA. I was hired to help the company's VP work on some prototype UIs for their line of hand-held network testing devices. After learning Java , their prototype language of choice, I evaluated several Java development environments popular at the time. I then made some customized graphical components in Java, such as an analog meter display. Since leaving Scope to continue my education, I totally re-designed and re-implemented the original software component. I hope to have an example on display soon... as soon as I remember where I stashed it. Overall, great people, great place to work.

In 2002 Azimuth Networks acquired Scope. Azimuth Networks was founded by Fanny Mlinarsky, former VP of Scope and who I reported to at Scope.
